Tuscany Derby ends on Tuesday italian cup program, Fiorentina hosts Pisa at the Stadio Franchi.
Kick-off time is 21:00 local time (20:00 UK time).
Paulo Vanori formed a 4-3-3, with David De Gea in goal, behind a back four of Joao Mario, Radu Dragusin, Marin Pangracic and Valdepenas. Ndol, Ole and Marco Bresciannini formed the midfield trio, with Franco Mastantono, Pellegrino and Wilfried Genonto up front.
A tie carries extra weight for the home team. Fiorentina sacked Fabio Grosso and rehired Vanoli, who returned to a club with clear problems to resolve, and cup competition was the quickest way to achieve tangible results while the league table was repaired. Pisa, meanwhile, have little to lose in the derby and they are clearly at a disadvantage in the competition.
Pisa’s back three consists of Simon Canestrelli, Caracciolo and Primasso in front of Simon Scarfit, with Zanon and Leiris serving as full-backs on either side of Loyola and Piccinini respectively. Ferra and Rao operated behind Pittarello.
