Thomas Frank appears ready to return to management, with the former Tottenham Hotspur and Brentford manager reportedly keeping a close eye on a number of Premier League situations ahead of his next move.
The 52-year-old has been out of work since leaving Tottenham in February but his reputation remains high thanks to the work he did at Brentford, where he built the club into a consistent top-flight side before moving to London.

“It’s difficult for a manager to step away from the game, who’s been doing specialist work and keeping himself busy, but there’s always the temptation to get back into the day-to-day stuff.
“I’m sure he will be keeping a close eye on a number of clubs and you mentioned Crystal Palace and Fulham as potential destinations.
“I don’t think either club is planning to make changes immediately, but Frank will certainly be on their radar because he’s still highly regarded.”
The palace has long admired Frank and even sounded him out before appointing Pierre Sarge earlier this year. Sage endured a difficult start after that, with Palace conceding a goal Scored 11 goals in first four Premier League gamesalthough results have improved slightly in recent weeks.
Fulham are another club to watch. Alvaro Arbeloa is still under pressure after a winless start but the board are currently backing him and there are no plans to make changes during the international break.

He built a team that was competitive, tactically flexible and difficult to play against without the budgets of the Premier League’s biggest clubs. This is precisely why clubs such as Crystal Palace and Fulham will find him attractive if their current situation worsens.
For Frank, the key is timing.
Jumping straight into another precarious job comes with risks, especially after Tottenham Hotspur. A club with patience, a clear recruiting structure and realistic expectations would be a better fit for him than another high-pressure environment that requires immediate transformation.
Now, Frank can wait. If Crystal Palace or Fulham do make a move late in the season, his Premier League experience should ensure he is part of the conversation.
