Newcastle United injury update ahead of the Fulham game at the weekend.
3pm start at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
Matthias Jaissle and his Newcastle United team with their last game before another international break.
United boss gives Newcastle United injury update on Thursday afternoon.
Four players will surely miss and with two unknown players.
Tino Livramento and Ewen Jaouen are long-term injuries and will still be missing after at least this international break.
Jacob Ramsey misses out on a penalty, picking up two yellows and a red on Monday night.
Matthias Jaissle has revealed that Fulham will be missing at least four Newcastle United players.
NUFC coach confirms Brazil international’s new injury problem: “Joelinton is out with an injury again, we have to work out the final treatment plan for him and see how long he will be out.”
Joelinton missed the end of last season and only returned to the starting eleven last month.
In better news, Matthias Jaissle reveals that two other players could now potentially return, although it’s still unknown for Saturday as the head coach keeps people guessing.
Matthias Jaissle: “Matias Fernandez-Pardo had a bad virus, he has been out for more than two weeks. He is progressing with us and training again, we will have to see how he is physically before Fulham. Lewis Miley is getting better and better, he has reacted well, he is progressing as I expected and wished.”
Ahead of the press conference, a media exclusive revealed that both MFP and Miley are training well and will return to the matchday squad at Craven Cottage.
Matthias Jaissle isn’t fully committed, but I’d be very surprised if the pair aren’t named in the 20 Newcastle United players in attendance on Saturday.
