Quinshon Judkins Posts 3 Wordy Messages After Sunday’s Win

For a struggling player, there are few things that feel better than responding to critics with a big game. Running backs, in particular, hear a lot of noise when they don’t have yards, and frustration can build from week to week. When the release finally arrives, the celebration usually says it all. A Browns running back kept it short and simple on Sunday.

Quinshon Judkins shared his excitement with a three-word message after the 27-24 win over the Tennessee Titans.

“Stand up Cleveland!” Judkins wrote.

Judkins won the moment. He rushed for 96 yards and 2 touchdowns on 17 carries, averaging 5.6 yards per carry, his most productive day of the season. He also added one catch for 8 yards.

His touches came at important moments. With the Browns trailing 14-0 in the first quarter, Judkins hit a 5-yard field goal to put Cleveland on the board. He then added a 6-yard touchdown run that tied the game at 14 before halftime, part of a game-changing 17-0 run.

The performance came after a difficult week. Judkins missed the win over the Baltimore Ravens with an ankle injury after leaving MetLife Stadium in a walking boot, and he was limited in practice until Friday.

Then came the criticism. Many believed Judkins did not live up to expectations, averaging 3 yards per carry.

Sunday didn’t erase those concerns, but Judkins showed what he can do when the lockout continues. He missed a lot all season while getting hit near the line of scrimmage. With a cleaner front against Tennessee, he finally found room to run.

The rest of the backfield helped. Dylan Sampson added 45 yards on 6 carries in his return from a knee injury, and the Browns finished with a season-best total of 183 rushing yards.

His message also matches the energy of this team. Monken praised the Browns fans who traveled to Nashville, and Judkins calling the city shows how much that support means to the players.

If Judkins can build on that performance, Cleveland’s offense will be harder to stop.
