Former Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe Reportedly the main contender to replace Michael Carrick At Manchester United.
The Red Devils have made a disappointing start to the Premier League, picking up just four points from as many games.
To make matters worse, in the third round of the Carabao Cup yesterday, Brighton came back from 2-0 down to beat them 3-2 and they were eliminated.
Carrick’s position is currently under intense scrutiny, with reports suggesting he could be sacked if United fail to beat Fulham in the league.
The Red Devils travel to Craven Cottage for Sunday’s game, which could be a tricky game considering Fulham drew 0-0 with Liverpool last weekend.
Howe is reportedly one of the leading candidates to take over at the helm if Carrick is sacked. After leaving Newcastle, he became a free agent.
Howe left the Magpies after seeing the departures of key players during the summer transfer window and is currently assessing his options.
